A phone system is part of the customer journey, not a piece of office equipment. A customer can know the right number, call in business hours and still fail to reach anyone, because the line rang at an empty desk, the queue had nobody logged in, or the after-hours message offered no useful next step. We design the routing around how your business actually receives enquiries, then install and support it.
What is included
- A hosted PBX with no hardware on your wall and nothing to maintain on site.
- Unlimited voice calls on a fixed monthly fee, with the system sized to the number of calls you need to handle at once.
- Your existing numbers ported across, or new geographical numbers issued.
- Call queues, ring groups, auto attendant and time-based rules for after hours.
- Call recording, and user PIN codes where a business needs to control who may dial what.
- Desk handsets, cordless handsets and mobile apps, so staff can work from anywhere.
- Failover rules, so incoming calls divert to mobiles when the line or the power fails.
What it saves
Savings come from three places: the PBX hardware and line rental fall away, calls between your own extensions are free, and outbound calls move to SIP rates. How much depends on what you pay today, so use our Phone Bill Check for an indication and we will confirm real figures for your site.
The questions management should be able to answer
- How many incoming calls last week were answered, abandoned or never answered?
- Which numbers, departments and times of day produce the most failures?
- Who owns a missed call, and how is the callback recorded?
- What happens when staff are busy, unavailable, working remotely or logged out?
- What happens to incoming calls when the fibre, the power or the local network fails?
Fifteen extensions at Riverside High School
The school's old system could no longer carry its call volumes, and callers were dropping. We installed a 15-extension cloud PBX carrying 15 concurrent calls, with call recording and PIN codes to prevent abuse, ported the numbers, and had it live inside the same two and a half weeks as the cameras, Wi-Fi and fibre.
Questions we are asked
Can we keep our existing numbers?
Yes. Existing numbers are ported onto our network, so customers keep dialling the number they know. New numbers can be issued where you need them.
How does the unlimited calls plan work?
A fixed monthly fee covers unlimited voice calls, no matter how many extensions you have. We size the system to the number of calls you need to handle at once, so the busiest hour of your week still goes through.
What happens to calls during load-shedding?
Cloud voice keeps running while your router and handsets have backup power, and calls can be routed automatically to mobile phones, to a queue or to an after-hours message. We test that behaviour as part of the installation.
What does a Tier 1 voice network backbone mean for us?
Your calls are carried on enterprise-grade infrastructure interconnected with South Africa's major mobile networks, rather than on a consumer service. Support stays with us: we design, install and maintain the whole chain.
